As LCA coordinator I am speaking to the 3rd Year students this week regarding the Leaving Certificate Applied Programme. It is one of three main paths that 3rd years can follow now after their Junior Certificate Year. The slide presentation has been uploaded to their google classroom so they can refer to it again before they make their final decision. I am posting a link below to the recorded LCA presentation we did for 3rd year parents previously during lock down as I thought this might be beneficial. There are references to covid and no junior certificate exams which is thankfully irrelevant now, however the structure and benefits of the programme are explained in detail and this has not changed.
