Parent Teacher Meeting January 16th

Work Experience

All work experience diaries must be completed and handed in by this date. You will have been completing this over 10 weeks of your previous experience and it will count towards your credits Please ensure it is filled in properly and in detail.

Please pick up your work experience report from your previous employer if I have not already received it and give them a thank you card if you wish they are in the office.

You should be beginning your new work experience this Wednesday. Please bring contact details etc for next Monday so you can complete your details form for my records. I will be organising no activities until all work experience details are in.

As before please attend every week right up until the end. School holidays are optional and should be in agreement with employer. Everyone should have their introduction letter and insurance letter to give to their employer.

Remember Garda vetting for over 16 working with children.

Pop Goes Primary

We will need to pick a date for this. I have two in mind 6th or 13th of February. Need to check with Ms Grant to see if there is anything else on either date. What concerts are coming up we could get tickets for and won’t be too expensive? Will meet before the end of the week to get things going.



Google Classroom

Everyone should have joined the classroom at this stage. The code is hggxlu. There are six people who haven’t signed up yet. Please use google drive to communicate with teachers, send in homework, complete projects and put together their eportfolio for the end of the year.

Reading Buddies

Reading Buddies will start this week. Please dont expect a teacher will come get you out of class when you are timetabled to read with your student. You need to make your own way at your allocated time.

Build a Bank

The build a bank school bank will continue to open Thursday at lunchtime. Please support your friends and open an account. You will be able to use this account up the street in the bank also.

Can you also follow up on any information still required for your bank of Ireland school bank.
