Candidate Self Service Portal

What is it?

In line with changes required to bring about the earlier issue of results of the LC appeal, the State Exams have developed a Candidate Self Service Portal for both Leaving Certificate and Leaving Certificate Applied candidates. The portal is an extension of the online examination results service. All candidates have received the details of the portal and the services that will be provided through it. If not already done so, you need to register NOW! If you do not register, you will NOT be able to access the range of services available on the portal. These are:

  • Access to your examination results
  • Access to component marks in subjects (eg orals marks, practical marks etc)
  • Apply to view your scripts (highly recommended!)
  • View scripts on line in subjects being marked online, ie Maths, Biology, Physics, chemistry, LCVP (Written component) and Politicies & Socieity
  • Make an appeal application
  • Access your appeal results.

The application to view scripts, the viewing of scripts marked online, the appeal application and the appeal results services are being provided exclusively online this year.

You can access your examination result via the Candidate Self Service Portal by logging in to www.examinations.ie and clicking the ‘Services’ tab. To login you will require your Examination Number and the password you created when you registered through the Portal. Your results will be available from 10am on Tuesday 13th August and the component marks will also be available this year from 10am on Wednesday 14th August the results
information in the Candidate Self Service Portal will be updated to show your component marks as well as your grade (e.g. marks for Mathematics Paper 1 and Paper 2; marks for Practical Coursework and Written paper in Geography)

All LC and LCA students are asked to familiarise themselves with the Candidate Information Booklet regarding all of the above and if not already done so, please refer to page 28 of the booklet on the process on how to register on the Candidate Self Service Portal. Any queries, please email the school on info@scoilmhuirebuncrana.ie
